Biography

Prasad a.k.a. Pacchu/Pach was born and raised in Pune. At age 6 his father gifted him his first six string; and at 18, he and his friends formed a band called ‘Wrath’ and participated in their first ever competition called the ‘Rock Revolution – 2000’. At Rock Revolution, Pacchu won the Best Vocalist award and Wrath was judged the runner-up for the evening.

As a kid he grew up idealizing bands like Easy Meat, Airwave, Jet Set, Strange Brew and the likes. Little did he know that some day he’d be crooning for some of Pune’s most renowned bands.

He was extremely thrilled, to say the least, when Chris and Mike of Strange Brew asked him for an audition with the band for their Hindi album. He grabbed the opportunity with both hands and found himself a place in the ever popular ‘Strange Brew’.

Pacchu is also a lawyer by profession and is currently managing the HR for one of the worlds’ leading LPO – Mindcrest.
